Bio
Edward Baranosky has painted since he was seven years old. His focus on marine-scapes, draws him back to visit his native home in the American east coast, for inspiration from the North Atlantic. His work emphasizes the present - in the ever-changing moments of water. As a poet-artist he crosses the channels and pathways between the visual and the textual.

Getting Here II
All of it touches you.
You are born to this time's space
As if bound with the sea,
Where the horizon disappears
Into the steel overcast sky.
You can still remember
The old house fully dressed,
Prepared for its own wake.
It's too easy slipping on the empty
Random drift of family papers.
