Bio
Edward Baranosky has painted since he was seven years old. His focus on marine-scapes, draws him back to visit his native home in the American east coast, for inspiration from the North Atlantic. His work emphasizes the present - in the ever-changing moments of water. As a poet-artist he crosses the channels and pathways between the visual and the textual.

Getting Here I
Seasons do not change
That you started from here,
With you already there—
Into the vast silence that cannot
Hold Deja vu, nor stop time.
Time spins into tides, lists
On an uneven keel careening
Into the headland cliffs,
Above the breaking swells roar
Where the seabirds soar the wind.
