I can't remember her name,
You think I would
After her betrayal,
She had two children
Both seemed vaguely disturbed in
A sad, not unpleasant way,
The daughter obsessed with Pokémon,
The boy, gentle, lost behind glass walls,
It was an intense few weeks,
One night, late, the young teens asleep,
She let slip what her therapist had forbidden her to tell me,
That she'd slept with her ex-husband,
She couldn't help herself, he
Still had some sort of hold over her,
But it wouldn't happen again, she said,
Her floating face spectral white in the dark room
