The Poison of Admiration

Celestial grace — my awe.
Wings of admiration — possession of linened windows.
The pedestal demands doll-like features - what would be the righteous choice.
Nails do not touch my collar — I inhale the burn of bygone reason.
The naive settle only for desire.
To enchant with mere radiance — a princess's skill.
The poison coursing through veins turns
into an arrogant curse.
I do not repent — I chose it wholeheartedly.
And, oh angel, this feeling is exquisite.
So why shed tears?
Absurd.
Fingers intertwine, staining dreams —
once again, blindly with hope.
