The Magic Carpet

Who carjacked a carpet under the elysian
lanterns streaming reminiscent light?
Whose carpet still hasn't landed
in the fields of acceptation?

Whose instruction was dust,
sparkles of dust that made their light
seethe through words into the core
of significance?

Who rode the rain? Who weaved tiny
mind cobwebs, one light year after another,
to re-nerve his carpet in
the packyderm zone?

Whose carpet is steering towards
loud clouds, as oppressive
as the soil blanket over his ancestors'
unmarked graves?
