You embraced it as a cherished item
preserved it for your long journey
took a bite of it
perceiving it a chocolate bar
full of Cocoa powder
after counting many mile-stones
you didn't reach the destination
where voices of heart are heard,
you found it was a harmful chemical
that metamorphosed you forever
now it's a late-night party
and you're holding a glass of wine
welcoming the cheers around,
in your inebriated eyes
a night looks as a day
