Indigo

Fault lines of my womb open ubiquitous flesh memories,
indigo rain floods the traffic of eyes
the clasp of my nose sings musical notes as
your insipid knife of betrayal sinks deep
I conceal painted toes inside black shoes
evolving -a rare locomotive animal of post-Darwinian theory
traipsing through days, stoic,
tethered quill ink verses grow long on my chin
