Sabrina Stuart Smith writes short fiction and poetry from her home in Toronto. She is a graduate of York University where she received her BA in English; and Toronto Metropolitan University where she studied Book Publishing. She is currently polishing her first chapbook.

Envy
Sometimes I envy the wind
free to be reckless
take what it desires
rearrange the landscape for sheer amusement
and tear through massive entities with ease.
It's so cool.
And blazing hot—a true firestarter
it moves without restraint
without apology
yet it gets misty
and calms restless despondent beings.
People fear and love it.
The wind is nothing like me.
