Donna Gagnon
Conflagration
In dark of night, in world of sleep,
All that was so swiftly burned.
No safety for the things we keep
In dark of night in world of sleep.
Tenacious flames hollowed deep,
Sparkling dreams ruefully turned
In dark of night in world of sleep.
All that was ... so swiftly burned.
