Bird shells and Sirens
We walk fast through the station's crowd trying to catch a train that's beginning to whistle. We sit by the window and the wheels rush under our feet like a river down a mountain. Wagons sliding down dark tunnels, grinding on the brakes against a curb; emerging safe; gliding past honey meadows and dreamy farms hidden among dingy towns with ugly factories that writhe under the pressure of capital's demands. However, we try to forget, for a moment, and languidly recline in the speeding compartment, blending in with the flying trees outside.
