for an oasis

In my dream I heard a fellow saying,
"War is over and grapes are so sweet."

I wandered all the day for an oasis
but it was nowhere in the Middle-East

In the evening
I asked a Date-Tree, standing alone
in the desert full of dunes of despair,
but it'd lost its voice
at the moment when the trumpet
of the war was blown again

with me there're some refugee children
whose vocal-chords don't vibrate
but their eyes narrate many epics of scare.
