Taya Sanderson Kesslau
A Few Days of Normal
An impossible turn
from this to that
when the scales are unbalanced.
When heaviness
is sticky like glue
is thick as quicksand.
Disappointments linger,
rattle and batter.
Hard to see when the light is dim.
To return to the dance floor
at the tip of a pin.
