Editor's Note

Shot Glass Journal Issue #46 features poetic voices from Argentina, Bahrain, Brazil, Canada, Germany, India, Ireland, Japan, New Zealand, Philippines, Poland, the UK, Wales, and the US.

In today's troubled times we look to poets to lift our spirits, give us insight, and empower our minds to think differently. The poets of Shot Glass Journal provide us with different viewpoints of life, love, and an understanding of how to continue.

We have also added three poetry forms to our Glossary for poems published in this issue. The Archive and Writer Archive of SGJ provide a chance to look back at previous issues and poets over the last 45 issues. We invite you to browse your favorite poet.

I'd like to thank Lonnard Dean Watkins, who is not only a miracle worker of a webmaster, but an invaluable asset to our editorial staff.

Muse-Pie Press has a listing called MPP Community which features poems of the poets we have published in Shot Glass Journal and the Fib Review. Visit the site at www.musepiepress.com and click on MPP Community. This page gives information on the poetry books and how to obtain them.

I'd also like to bring attention to Muse-Pie Press' community poem. In March 2020, Muse-Pie Press invited its poets to participate in creating a world-wide Community poem. We wanted to capture the individual experiences and insights of these poets regarding the Covid-19 worldwide pandemic. There were 220 submissions received from 16 countries. R. G. Rader, publisher of Muse-Pie Press, compiled each line and crafted the poem "Pandemic: A Community Poem" into a poem of seven parts. Please visit the Muse-Pie Press site at www.musepiepress.com and click on Community Poem.

We hope you enjoy Issue #46.

Wishing you peace and health,
– Mary-Jane Grandinetti
