Black is So Bright
I want to be at ease. I want to live right now, not next week or next month, I
want this. this silent scene. Not a minute ago, not the version of me that is
running away or planning ahead. I want to live in those precious moments
before falling asleep every day. in the dreams and in the clouds where I am
not myself or an extension of you. It is the kind of peace and tranquillity
people spend lifetimes chasing. a moment I get to feel just before tipping,
ever so slightly, into the large void. this dark and temporary abyss.
