Arvilla Fee
What Were Their Names?
after the last bullet has left the barrel,
after the last cry evaporates in air,
after the last 911 call,
after the last siren
stops shrieking,
after the last news crews
have taken down the tripods,
after the last report
fades from the headlines,
after the last shockwave of grief,
will we remember those who fell?
