Tyson West
Wilderness Waves
Save river's thread, no borders blocked their way
their cloud of clans swelled west to name the gap
through which their steel destroyed red flint and fear.
As beards broke sod, breast milk flows sets their stay.
But doers dropped their loam into the trap—
heirs cling to worth in who they be and sneer
at minds whose clever hands redo this space.
Each far war's surge of strangers comes to lap
old kitchens with fresh spice and spawn who steer
pied tides of flesh into a bright new race.
We're here!
