Prinia-Song

A branch oscillates,
a twig quivers. From the edge
of the copper-pod leaf, a soft song is born.
Its sweetness splays
the orange notes of the morning.
The singer does not care to be noticed.
She is only filled with little notes
of meditation,
oblivious
to the hungry bees,
to the dancing dragonflies,
the still listeners
behind open windows.
