Looking at Yourself

You touch your fingers and think they are fresh leaves
Your nails, as innovative as
Painter's brush.
You touch your arms and think they are soft as sponge, your tears as water songs,
Your self love of your sensory experiences
always
uneven slices of your visual language.
You bring your hair towards your right,
But you know you are not going to put between scissors
Your fingers or your hair.
