Editor's Note
Each issue of Shot Glass Journal surprises me in new ways. If it isn't the variety of poets from countries we've never reached before,
or poetry forms we've never published before, or the volume of submissions we receive, it's the quality of the poems we get to share with our readers.
Shot Glass Journal Issue #37 offers our readers a selection of form and free verse poetry by poets from Australia, Bahrain, Bhutan,
Canada, Croatia, Germany, Finland, India, Ireland, Kenya, New Zealand, Singapore, Spain, the UK and the US. This current issue adds
2 new poetry forms to our Glossary of Poetic Forms, bringing the total number to 67 poetry forms published.
Be sure to visit our Writer Archive and read the over 1000 poets we've published over these previous 36 issues, and visit
the issues Archive to browse the previous issues of Shot Glass Journal.
I'd also like to bring attention to Muse-Pie Press' community poem. In March 2020, Muse-Pie Press invited its
poets to participate in creating a world-wide Community poem. We wanted to capture the individual
experiences and insights of these poets regarding the Covid-19 worldwide pandemic. There were 220
submissions received from 16 countries. R. G. Rader, publisher of Muse-Pie Press, compiled each line and
crafted the poem "Pandemic: A Community Poem", into a poem of seven parts.

We hope you enjoy Issue #37.
