Ted Jean
anthropocentric astronomy
astonished eye of the rising sun
is idiot energy
mournful moon insensate stone
why in their tedious passage
have they not worn a slot
in the cortical integument
of our eager argument
but no, each day new
first light a fresh rehearsal
of unlessened longing
at limned midnight
cold mineral mirror
a vault of memories
cosmic art of the human heart
