There's a sensual darkness
that walks the streets of La Paz.
Wild and rooted,
nurturing,
entrapping.
Beyond red lips,
sharp white teeth,
wet oval eyes,
beneath skin tattooed jeans,
rounded, molded,
riding up into thighs,
that source of difference.
There are thoughts in black hair
dreaming wildly,
of revolution in the streets.
