Bent steel
blue chalk
a man's eye
drifting through the darkness
the hate
the shipwrecks and splinters
the broken pincers that fall each day
litter thrown away
a black hole
a whirlpool.

No one dares to enter
to touch
to look at
the soft spots
of the ocean.
