Simon Anton Nino Diego Baena lives in the Philippines. He spends most of his time on the road with his wife, Xandy. Still

The coast is silent.
Distant from what I've lost.

There is no future nor past,
only this overwhelming present

here: the viridian sea taunts me
with its beauty,

for I have nothing to offer
except these wounds.

Nevertheless I want this
view to remain still,

including that gull
flying against the wind.
