The Dance

(Triolet)

The mandala they weave twirls
Like a green bouquet of change.
Lethe-drunk, the waking heart swirls,
The mandala they cleave twirls.
Silences the quick fire curls,
The music wilt-soft, drawn, strange.
The mandala they leave twirls,
Like a browning wreath of change.
