Soggy Underwear

Doing what we can to defeat boredom
we stand in the rain,
knowing that there are few who
just stand in the rain,
it is our silent, yet defiant, fuck you.
Though we are wet and cold and
a little unsure.

Edward Manzi lives in Tahoe City, CA. He has an MFA from the University of New Hampshire. Most recently, his poems have been published in Blood Lotus, Word Riot, The Bakery, Paper Nautilus, Sun's Skeleton. He also has poems forthcoming in decomP and The Hoot and Hare Review.
