Linda Conroy
Magic, Math or Entropy
I like geometry; its planes and diagrams
make sense to me, both visual and visceral.
This sloping line of Grandpa's shed,
the slant of sunbeams reaching
touching it, to share their knowledge
shedding light on what we learn.
Their angles bending cleverly,
bringing beauty of a colored rainbow in the sky.
Nature's art has had this same effect
throughout our time, a blissful satisfaction,
'til suddenly AI, with its bits and bytes,
bends and stipples what we all once knew,
like borer beetles stealing strength of planks
that used to keep this roof line whole.
