She resides in the US and the coastal town of Nha Trang, Vietnam, where she is a mom of two far-too-clever-frolicsome imps.

Night Watch

where the fontanelle pulsed
between pale anklebones of dusk,
you left the back porch sky
wept down the thresher wheat,

far indigo globed with seared
clefts of shadows sprung, spotted
fawns skimmed too low on
the pinned up lake,

peach daffodils grew where
the thruway once sharply turned,
angling back to catch your somber
wake, a loneliness always near,

until the moss-haloed pines
flushed hollows of pink asters fine,
you lifted wings with soft cotton
dress, a pair of arms in flying stars–
