I have been a policeman, a commando, an oil rig roughneck, a firefighter, ran a homeless hostel full of drug addicts, alcoholics, ex-prisoners, potential prisoners and in doing I met and befriended people who are now pillars of support and friendship in my life. I went back to college for HNC Social care and then worked in mental health and in the community with folk who need a wee hand. I currently do Socialisation and Confidence building. Other than that - I`m a classic grumpy cynical old soldier who detests the nannification of our l ives by pompous, faceless, slavish system followers. I mourn the loss of common sense.
