Why didn't you simply discard the paper,
scribbled with jumbled words,
torn into fragments,
and left in your cup,
with one piece sticking out,
bearing an intriguing word
that compelled me to reconstruct it,
etching an unforgettable image in my mind,
while leaving behind an enduring pain?
