Shelley Hainer
Nothing: Good Enough
I'm tired of the having to
of the going and the doing.
I'm giving up the must
and ought to and the
should because of.
It is possible to exist
empty of all this
without calling out
a name or cause or result.
What if here, then,
now, just breathing
peace untangled soothes
without announcement.
Seeps through in between.
Saturates, washes clean.
