I live in Worthing and am a Senior Support Worker in a homelessness hostel.
Over the years I have had some success in the Indie press including Pen Pusher, HQ and Pulsar and Reach .
I also perform and was pleased to support Alan Evans and Jenny Éclair when they visited the local theatre in Worthing . This was part of 'Hotbed' a scheme to encourage local performers.
I was shortlisted in the Isobel Hospice Poetry Competition December 2019 and featured in their anthology.
My poem "How to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse" received just under 2000 'likes' on social media and was shared hundreds of times March 2020
Trapped, as we were,
between our mother's tension and
our father's temper,
there was nothing to do but drive on.
She held the map on her knee.
He held route, road, destination.
