scattered
the floor
orbs of gold
littered
the air,
danced between their eyes
like shy call girls,
made themselves known
like paintings
to be savored
from a comfortable distance.
Bio
Imani Hardaway is a Librarian and MFA candidate at William Paterson University. She currently resides in the notoriously mellow state of New Jersey.
