The Silence of Her Smiles

she rarely smiles at anyone
except at herself in the mirror
her stern eyes enough to silence
anyone in the conference room
how many hidden, silent wars
she has defeated nobody knows
but I'm just so content to see how
disheveled she looks as the wind
blows on her face as she stands
at the bus stop waiting for hours
