spoon cornflakes into their flawless mouths.
They drink perfect cups of the purest coffee
before leafing through the newspaper.
Our lives are tucked away on page ten
in the middle of the sports section
and reduced to a series of box scores
smaller than horoscopes and weather forecasts.
