Painting Reimagined Words
"Everything you can imagine is real"   Pablo Picasso

words
fall
lightly
down the page
unravelling letters
leaves in autumn floating from trees
discarding a season to gather sadly in piles
collecting memory dank with must    yet imagining summer    longing for those past
tangled branches that held the enriching sap of trees
their ringed journeys & spectacle
nature's history
withering
archive
earth
where
I
rake
the wrack
of winter's
realisation
mulch hopeful plants I nurture like
yesterday's children    shaping new narratives    I lift
bent stems from the ground & stake bruised life    optimistic about survival    signalling
a revival    reimagined    that writes poetry
the colour of brilliant spring flowers
a canvas of blooms
an opus
into
which
I
breathe
art
vigour
fantasy
& reminiscence
weaving the rich fibre of love
as design drips metaphor across the painted scene
dream its medium    invisible horizon beyond hills    suns setting promise dawns
for everything I can imagine is real
in my wild reconsecration
imagination
tangible
lightly
