John J. Han (Ph.D., University of Nebraska-Lincoln) is Professor of English &
Creative Writing at Missouri Baptist University in St. Louis, where he serves as
editor of Cantos: A Literary and Arts Journal. An award-winning poet,
he has authored three poetry volumes: Little Guy Haiku, Chopsticks and Fork,
and Thunder Thighs. His poems have also appeared in the Asahi Haikuist Network,
the Mainichi Daily News, Frogpond, Simply Haiku, South by Southeast, Mariposa,
Geppo, Shot Glass Journal, The Fib Review, The Laurel Review, Cave Region Review,
Prune Juice, Elder Mountain, Lucidity, Taj Mahal Review, and numerous other
periodicals and anthologies worldwide. Simply Haiku designated him as
the world's sixth-best English-language haiku poet for the year 2011,
and Cave Region Review featured him as its Poet of the Year 2012.
