Holding a grudge felt like holding a cigarette's
last bit against the lips;
burning yet not wanting to let go.
He wrote their names in a diary,
so as not to forget their names.
Tides of fate soon came and washed
the diary away,
together with the owners of the names.
His name drifted ashore....
