Larry Schug
the god who watches over sparrows
not believing in any Beliefs
having lost faith in Faiths,
I've opted for hope and charity.
I imagine camels
dancing through needle eyes,
angels playing slap jack
on pin heads,
pray to the god
who watches over sparrows
to keep open her eyes
as I've decided to stop looking
and concentrate on seeing.
