Edytta Anna Wojnar
Tidal Wave
For decades we cradled
and hogged our oneness
surfed in unison (we thought)
our mouths full of water.
After tasting the innerness
of the other
we gasped twisting
into sea fire
our glassy eyes blaming.
We drowned
with bellies full of mud
the waning moon bruised and dim.
