As an international online journal, Shot Glass Journal, Issue #26 features a wide geographical range of poets from Australia, Canada, Croatia, Finland, India, Ireland, Israel, Kenya, New Zealand, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Turkey, the UK and the US.

The work of producing Shot Glass is a labor of love. We don't publish this journal for money - Shot Glass doesn't charge for submissions and our webpages don't have advertisements. Months of work go into reading hundreds of submissions and hundreds of poems we receive for each issue. Since we limit our poetry publication to about 50 poets, the selection process is quite difficult and sometimes lengthy. Each issue is painstakingly laid out by our dedicated webmaster, so it best suits the poet and the poem. Hundreds of poets are setup in our Writers Archives so their poems can live on in posterity. All of our previous issues are archived to enable our readers a chance to peruse past issues. Why we do all of this each issue is for the love of poetry.
