Marc Carver has published some ten collections of poetry and two thousand poems on the net but his worst fear is to have to sit in a room and listen to poets performing there poems anymore

Only Me
I had one too many
got on the wrong bus
I saw the girl from the gym
must of fell asleep
next thing I know the driver
was asking me if I was okay
As I came around I noticed I was on the floor of the bus
I had to go all the way back to the bus station
no busses left
an hour to get back to where I started.
In the end I walked back
jacket ripped pizza on floor
On the Monday I saw the girl who works in the gym
she gave me that look
that I have got quite used to as time goes by
but you can only be who you are
