Daniel Ames
Spring Green
Frank Lloyd Wright's handyman went nuts
took an axe and killed seven people
as I tour the ode to supreme architecture
I catch the eye of a woman
smooth hair, green eyes
something passes between us
in the crisp Wisconsin air
and I know
she can hear the screams, too
