Bio

Ron Scully is a retired bookseller. After half a lifetime on the road, an original Willie Loman only funnier, he has settled down to read and write. Mostly he practices haiku, having published widely in the short form journals. His chapbooks, "still lives", "Listening for Thirteen Blackbirds", "Darlington Braves", are available on line and "four quarters" is slated for the end of the summer. Occasionally he published more lyric work, including poems in Fib Review, Mystic River, Prime 53, and Ars Poetica. He was nominated for a Pushcart in 2020.Currently he is working on a play, Borrowed Wife, and an untitled anthology of sports literature.
