Shannon Joy Wazny is a kid at heart and is blessed with a fertile
imagination. She writes poetry, prose and is a photographer. She has
taken an interest in the challenge of poetic forms such as sonnets
and she loves when the form elevates the content.
Shannon has been previously published in The Fib Review, True Chili
and in Shot Glass Journal for which she received a Pushcart
nomination.
silent
chanting
poem rises
dream-like, like smoke
forms like Van Gogh's starlight
the whispering light through the window chastises me
ink drips from my pen
morning has broken
