I have an MA in Creative Writing obtained last year (2017) from the International Institute of
Modern Letters (IIML) at Victoria University, New Zealand. For the MA, I wrote a memoir titled Loss
Adjustment, about the death by suicide of my teenage daughter Victoria McLeod and of the destruction
of our house in an earthquake. My main genre is creative non-fiction but I am also a poet and essayist.
My writing has been published in the literary journals Turbine and Swamp Writing.
