The Kerouac Effect is an annual celebration of all things Beat situated on or around the birthday of Jack Kerouac - It's all about poetry and music where Spoken Word poets are paired with musicians.

In 2013 The Keroauc Effect was an international event with performances held in Auckland (NZ), Wellington (NZ) And Melbourne (Aus).
